The Gabriel Mitts are inspired by the traditional farm worker’s clothing worn by the shepherd Gabriel Oak in Thomas Hardy’s ‘Far From the Madding Crowd.’

The mitts feature a smocking effect cuff, and are easy to knit. The kit includes 100% British pure wool in a tweedy brown colour, the pattern and cute sheep knitting needles, so you can start knitting straight away.
